So, my girlfriend isn’t completely sold on electronic music, in fact i think she puts up with it just for me. So once I heard that Diplo’s label, Mad Decent, just released a heavy hip-hop influenced mixtape, I had to share it with her. 3 songs in and she wanted me to burn her a copy. The mixtape is called ‘Transformers In The Hood’ and Atlanta MC/producer duo FKi rounded up a sick group of contributors such as Diplo, Heroes x Villains, Mayhem, and many others. Just in case you have been under a rock or took a short coma, I got your back! Also didn’t want to feed you a poor quality link. Skrillex co-produced this track’s original with The Doors, and it will be in a theatre near you here shortly in the Re:Generation movie. This original was one of the hottest tracks of the tail end of 2011 and still 110% a banger. That being said, a remix that pays homage to this original and stands toe to toe with it, is amazing in itself. -Total Eargasm-

Andy’s iLL – President Evil(Remix) + Others

Andy’s iLL is an up and comer from Canada you surely will be hearing plenty more from soon. Andy Sills aka Andy’s iLL has dropped three quality remixes this month and is demanding more and more attention daily.

My favorite of the three is Andy’s iLL’s remix of Beef Theatre’s ‘President Evil’. This track is epic and after a full two minutes working on grabbing you attention and gripping a hold of it tightly, the words “Game Over” are only the beginning.

Steve Aoki – Ladi Dadi + Contest Remixes

Steve Aoki gave us an awesome original about a month ago in ‘Ladi Dadi’, a track with a very gradual buildup before shocking your eardrums with screamin dubstep.  This EDM shot caller is holding a remix contest on Beatport as we speak and the winning remixer will have their remix released on Ultra Records.
